The Blackstone River Coalition is a non-profit organization made up of numerous organizations in the Blackstone Valley working together to restore the Blackstone River and to improve the health of the Blackstone River Watershed.
The river flows through 2 states and impacts the 29 communities within its watershed. This means that there are many different stake holders who are interested in the health of the Blackstone River. These groups include:
We are dedicated to the Campaign for a Fishable/Swimmable Blackstone River by 2015. It is our collective activites and the realization that we are all part of a larger common goal that is helping to bring back this once heavily polluted industrial river.
